Kings Chapel

We have really enjoyed creating wedding videos at the Kings Chapel in Buckinghamshire. This great venue is situated right in the centre of the picturesque market town of Old Amersham. This area is full of history and over 150 listed buildings, so it’s no wonder the area has been used in many movies, including most famously Four Weddings and a Funeral.

 

The wedding venue itself is a converted 18th century chapel with beautiful chandeliers and a stunning unsupported domed ceiling which is said to be one of the largest in the UK. 

 

The staff at the venue really do try to make each wedding as unique as the couple and work very hard to offer a personal and friendly service which can be seen throughout all the venues great reviews online.

 

Civil ceremonies can take place either inside the main hall, outside in the beautiful maintained walled garden or there is always the option for couples to marry at St Marys church which is only minutes away. Most churches are more than happy to allow wedding videographers to capture the wedding, but it’s always a good idea for couples to check before booking.

 

The wedding breakfast can be catered for up to 120 guests and they offer everything from traditional roasts, to BBQs and hog roasts.

 

One of the great features of this venue is that it is exclusive use, so the couple don’t have to worry about bumping into another wedding party. The Kings Chapel is licensed until midnight, but afterwards the wedding party are always invited to the nearby Kings Arms for a nightcap until 2am.

 

On site there are 32 bedrooms for the couple and their guests and there are many wonderful hotels and B&Bs locally that means people won’t have to travel far after the big day draws to a close.
