Farnham Castle wedding video | W4 Wedding Films | Surrey Videographers
We are lucky enough to be recommended wedding videographers for Farnham Castle in Surrey, an ancient castle which is steeped in history and has played host to many Kings and Queens of England over almost 1000 years. It is now a contemporary wedding venues which maintains its rich heritage. It is also blessed with stunning views from its lawn over the Surrey Hills.
We recently put together this short film featuring some of the recent weddings we have filmed at the Castle. It shows off some of the venue's unique spaces, including the Gatehouse, in which the bride and her bridesmaids often get ready in the morning, the Lantern Hall where many civil ceremonies take place, the Stone Hall where guests can mingle and enjoy canapés, and the 12th Century Great Hall, where guests enjoy the wedding breakfast.
As some of these clips show, couples put their very different and personal styles and tastes into their wedding planning - we've seen Scottish pipers leading guests out of the ceremony and onto the lawn, groomsmen arriving in Cadillacs, and the Lantern Hall being turned into a Games Room for Scalextric car races! And that's aside from the decoration, flowers, cake, stationery and evening entertainment.
There are great nooks and crannies that we can film shots from, including the balcony bar and the galleries very high up over the Great Hall, which enable us to get a great wide shot of the room which really gives a sense of the grandeur of the hall.
The film also shows the wonderful food served to guests by the Galloping Gourmet team at Farnham, it truly is second to none and the food is always a highlight of the day for us!
