Hedsor House Sustainable Wedding Fair
Earlier this month we were delighted to be invited by Hedsor House to be part of their first Sustainable Wedding Showcase. The event was to launch a brand new wedding package called The Alexander, which is an environmentally sustainable carbon neutral venture. A brilliant initiative from Hedsor House, which is a venue we are proud to be a recommended supplier at.
We have made efforts in recent years to reduce our carbon footprint by making all our packages entirely digital and introducing new social media friendly wedding film options. We don’t produce brochures or other marketing material, keeping leaflet print to a minimum and reserved only for wedding fairs.
We were pleased to make a short film of the Hedsor House showcase evening featuring the suppliers who were there to exhibit. Alongside suppliers and the fabulous Hedsor House Team, we also met industry colleagues from Bridebook and Rock my Wedding, who have a great initiative called Recycle my Wedding which allows brides to sell second hand items after their wedding, like wedding dresses, shoes, hair clips and other decorations or centrepieces. Another great idea, to save money on your wedding budget as well as reducing waste.
We met with newly engaged couples looking for their dream venue (look no further than Hedsor House!), as well as those who had already booked their date and were looking for some inspiration for their wedding planning. Thank you to those couples who have booked us as a result of meeting us on the evening.
We can’t wait to be back at Hedsor House in November to film more weddings, as well as the Open House evening on 22nd November.
Here is the short film we made of the event which features the following suppliers:
Catering - Lettice Events Decor - Twilight Trees Production - Glo Productions Flowers - Amarante Cake - Love from Lila Photography - David Bostock Videography - W4 Wedding Films Wine - Jascots Wedding Dresses - White Canvas by Lee Griffin Recycle my Wedding
