Sabrage | Champagne bottle opening at weddings

At a recent wedding we had the pleasure to film a stunning champagne opening at Beaumont Estate.

Sabrage is the art of opening a champagne bottle with a saber. Usually the newlyweds will stand side by side and the Toastmaster or other skilled professional will cut open the top of the bottle with a sharp blade. It supposedly symbolises the couples unity and prosperity, but we also think it looks amazing too!
