Sir Christopher Wren Hotel

As local wedding videographers, the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel in Windsor, Berkshire, is a wonderful hidden gem that we would love to tell you about.

Situated next to the river Thames near to Eton Bridge the hotel is placed in such an iconic location. Couples can make use of this for the important photos, using the backdrop of Windsor Castle or magnificent views down the Long Walk.

On the morning of the big day, the bridal party may choose to relax at the spa, called the Wren’s Club. The spa has a sauna, relaxation room, and whirlpool. It’s even possible to organise an in-house beauty therapist on the morning too.

Inside the hotel couples have a choice when it comes to where they would like to hold their Civil Ceremony. The Princess Suite holds up to 110 guests and boasts large windows a private bar and leads directly out to the riverside terrace for the following drinks reception. For more intimate ceremonies, the Windsor Lounge is a brand new room with its own personal courtyard and can host up to 50 guests.

After the ceremony the couple and their guests can hold their drinks reception outside on the terrace, inside one of the sumptuous suites or even on a boat that can be chartered from the hotels own private jetty.

There is plenty of accommodation, the couple will be able to stay on one of the stunning four star bedrooms and the guest have plenty of choice with the hotels 139 rooms.
